Post-Surgery Recovery & Support

After your operation, you will wake up in the recovery room and then transferred back to your room once it is safe to do so.  You’ll feel drowsy because of the anaesthetic and painkillers. You will usually be discharged after 1 or 2 nights stay in hospital. Your catheter will be removed between 10 to 14 days after surgery. However, it takes a few weeks for you to fully recover after your operation. Most people can go back to normal activities between 6 to 8 weeks after surgery.
