The Prostate Clinic (TPC) is a highly specialised private clinic focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. As the first clinic of its kind in Nigeria and indeed West Africa, The prostate Clinic focuses on providing safe and evidence-based treatments for prostate cancer using the most advanced surgical technologies and techniques. At the prostate Clinic, state-of-the-art technologies including DaVinci Robot and Laparoscopy are utilised to ensure precise surgeries with excellent oncological and functional outcomes.
Leveraging on collaborations and partnerships with key technology stakeholders in the world, TPC focuses on ensuring full deployment of cutting edge technologies to enhance surgical outcomes that will be comparable to any centre in the world at an affordable rate for Nigerians and Africans at large.

Our mission is to offer men in Nigeria, Africa and indeed any patient who comes to The Prostate Clinic with prostate cancer the best possible treatment aimed at not just curing their cancer, but also preserving the quality of life as much as possible. We aim to create a research enabling environment which will contribute towards achievement of medical and surgical excellence.

This will undoubtedly help to accelerate patient’s recovery and help our guests forget the stresses of their illness.
Founded by Professor Kingsley Ekwueme, the idea of TPC is to create a centre of excellence for treating patients with prostate cancer using Robotic technology and cutting edge research so that no man should have to die needlessly from prostate cancer. Leveraging on networking and collaborations with key technology and industry experts from around the globe, TPC aims to open up all available surgical technologies to Nigerians and Africa.
Our vision is to expand access to all minimally invasive prostate surgical techniques including Robotic, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic services to every man in Nigeria and Africa at large. We are committed to helping Robotic surgical techniques developed at The prostate Clinic become established in Nigeria and Africa at large, in order to help preserve sexual and bladder functions of men after prostate surgery with a combination of early diagnosis and prompt treatment using cutting edge diagnostic techniques.
